We value our history and have invested heavily in re-establishing a sense of place and cultural heritage in what was once the heart of Monett. As a community committed to continued development, Monett Main Street will use the following mission and vision to guide our actions into the future.

The vision of Monett Main Street is a thriving downtown that offers a variety of business, educational and recreational services with opportunities for entertainment designed to entice people to live and work here.

Mission

The mission of Monett Main Street is to promote downtown Monett as the activity center for the community that encourages the development of business and education, staging of special events to highlight the area’s culture and history, and the development of parks and recreation spaces so that downtown becomes a social gathering place.
