Monett Main Street

We are a group of volunteer residents and business owners that share a vision of transforming downtown Monett into a thriving district and a fun place to live, work, visit, play and invest.

Together with the help of the Missouri DREAM Initiative and Missouri Main Street Connection, we formed Monett Main Street in May 2012 to restore downtown as the heart of our community and to help achieve our key goals:

• Promote economic growth and enhance local businesses.
• Preserve the history and heritage of our community, and beautify the downtown area.
• Promote downtown as a destination and bustling activity center for the community

Together with our partners, our team has made an impact in many of these areas, including improving existing historic structures, creating a logo and wayfinding signage, and many other accomplishments. Today we remain focused on our mission of revitalizing and strengthening downtown Monett.
